greed, betrayal and difficulties abound
but the world is too large for evil to fill
there are places vice cannot reach
cannot decay
formidable fortresses fire cannot penetrate
and there are still hearts
longing for honest conversations
hearts hungry for the meeting of like-minds
and the sparks and glitter and joy
those contacts generate
aspire
ascend
soar
above mediocrity
above the warmth of smallness
and the indiscipline masked as love for a simple life
abused and ignored
yet rise
above the rubble
above every filt tainting your reputation
above lousy mouths and their doubts in your capabilities
above false rumors hummed behind your back
soar above the darkness
sunshine is waiting to welcome you
beyond the horizon
