this song’s been singing
in my heart since morning
awakening the glow in everything I see
don’t know what the lyrics are trying to teach me
and now this mystery
of a candle that seems to whisper names
only I can hear
these flames, that refuse to be put out,
are they a reflection or a test of my resilience? these names,
why do they echo in these flames?
