in their works
and sometimes,
possessions mirror something in their owners
haven’t you noticed
how so much music
is filled with messages to haters?
what was supposed to be a stream
of pure talent
for us to draw layers of meanings
has become colored with the hate, bitterness, violence that’s been stewing during the rise
tell me creative works are outlets
for bottled feelings
and I will ask you what your message
for your audience was before you ran
into haters and obstacles
