The ability to remain calm under pressure is a skill that takes time to develop.

For the first time in our lives that we decide to keep calm during tough moments, it’s normal for our resolve to keep calm to bend and succumb to defeat, like every muscle that has never known heat.

What does wave after wave of worrying through trying times produce? Needless pain.

Fear and anxiety gets us no where. What moves obstacles is solutions. And tearful eyes do not see solutions clearly.

It might seem to some people that you’ve developed a machine heart and stone face, but what else do they expect you to become when after crying and weeping you realize nothing will change and no one will be there for you if you do not rise and limp on, and fend for yourself while on medications and still bleeding?

Crying doesn’t solve anything. Only work does. Crying isn’t something you can always control no matter how inspired or tough you become. But after drying your tears, get to work on your problems.

No matter how big a problem, not matter how impossible a situation, if only you’ll steady yourself, and adjust your laser focus on the most important steps to be taken under the circumstances, you will see progress, no matter how little.

No problem is without answers. Sometimes we don’t know how, but it doesn’t mean a solution does not exist.

To God, all things are possible. All things are possible to those who believe. You cannot be the child of a God who has no limitations and live a short-sighted life of mental, emotional and financial confinements.

No matter how prayerful you are, no matter how kindhearted you are, these factors are no guarantee that difficulties will not come your way. However, when deadlines are fast approaching and all seems lost, and you can sense defeat buzzing and hovering over your head, remember to keep your calm.

It is in those moments of calm that answers come.

Armies much smaller than their opponents have resisted the urge to give up and have gone on to turn the tides of victory and history in their favour. Other armies in similar situations who tried the same feat were wiped out. But like driver ants that keep marching even through fire, you should never be deterred by these possibilities of failure and stories of doom.

Giving up is not in your DNA. Lock horns with that seemingly immovable mountain and keep charging with every fibre of strength you can muster till that bloody obstacle screams your name in defeat!
