The headlamp in the sky
dims, another day goes by
An unbroken streak
That’s outlived the strong and weak
The next chance to try
beams, whether it lays so nigh
Or buried very deep
That’s for tomorrow to reveal
The best tides to ride
is sleep, in order to rise
One must sometimes kneel
