The stillness of a lazy afternoon
Interrupted by the hissing of bullets
From a thirsty gun
Coughing and bleeding regrets
Writing on wounds
The story of a lone rider
Of virgin love
And uncultivated passions
Of a young lady he tried to bend
Into a sweet marriage
A marriage broken and
Sullied with infidelity
His reward for sheltering an old friend
And for loving a woman
A hot court case
About custody
Justice at last
When father reunites with children
And an irresponsible mother
Thrown out with the ingrate
He once called a friend
Our elders say
When you throw a stone at God
It hits your forehead
