How does it feel?

What does it mean
to be a mother?

To what can labor pains be compared
for a man to understand?

How does it feel
to mother ingratitude,
to raise an ungrateful child?

How does it feel
after 9 months
of 9 hells
to be unwelcomed home
by an abusive husband?

How does a mother feel
seeing her child
that reminds her
of how far they both
have come?

What does it mean for a woman
when she gives her best
to a marriage
she hopes will be her last
and sees it falling apart?

Why is a being
so intelligently and uniquely designed
with beauties
sometimes considered inferior
to a man
and her views
sometimes considered unimportant?

How does it feel
to be a woman?

  1. Benjamin, you’ve expressed the feelings of a mother and women in general so well my friend. Women should never be considered inferior to men for they are both intellectually and emotionally far superior to their counterparts. Thanks for joining in.

  4. Benjamin as a man you will never fully know, but you’re asking the right questions. These are some key points that go right to the very soul of most women.
