Like men that dreamed

Is this Salem
or another Harlem?
Looks like a priest in a frock
Once stood there, flocked

By masses seeking greener pastures
Battling cold, hunger and fractures
From ethnic clashes
And backlashes

The stones there, perhaps for names
That bravely fought for their fame
Maybe this ground symbolized toil, screams
Loss, and the fulfilment of long lost dreams
