Whatever you’ve mastered, it has its limits. There comes a point in your journey where you feel like a child. As if all the knowledge you’ve acquired is nothing, some sort of child play you’ve been doing all along, deceiving yourself that you are the best. It takes humility to sit, under the feet of whatever you’ve met that seems to have humbled you, to unlearn a couple of things, learn many things for the first time, and have your eyes opened to certain truths for the first time.

There is a high probability that you will die with some potential still within you, like crossing the river with a boat of ghosts, the ghosts of unfulfilled dreams. You may not be able to ward off all ghosts, but you can reduce the number that will be on board if you develop that attitude of a child, unashamed to admit ignorance, always willing to learn.
