Life is a riddle
You give the impression you’ve solved it when you are dead

You must act like you’ve got the answer.

Life is a journey to nowhere
Yet you look odd when you live like you are going nowhere

Life is a performance
To put on the best show
You must try not to impress anyone

Life is an offering
What you bring to the altar
Is bringing out the best in others

Life is a school
What we learn is how to eat
How to eat our pride.

To be seen, there is hyperbole and satire. In the public square, there is shouting to reach out above the noise. The humility of the invisible is unnoticed. Bravado is part of a necessary performance.
