The introvert

From roaming from one church to another

I met you

Was looking for a perfect church

You were always seated somewhere in the middle there

Hardly greeting anyone after service

You only looked at me

And I returned your look

No one said anything to the other

Until the day pastor organized a seminar for singles

We happened to be sitting next to each other

That was how I knew your name

And that was how our friendship began

Forgot to take your number when I was leaving town

Now I can hardly remember your name

But I cannot forget your face

  4. Nailed it, too, from one introvert to another – I always hated that feeling.

    1. Thanks, Dave. It is good for people to open up to others. It does so much good.
