It’s easy to sometimes think you’re superhuman.
But a mirror will reveal your protruding stomach,
hunched posture, and bushy beard that makes you look more like an ape turning into man than the superman you think you are.

A mirror will show you yellowing canines, an awkward style of pursing your lips, skin defects that need attention, rheum still in the eyes even after a shower.

Of course, mirrors never attend schools of diplomacy and will always tell you things you may not be ready to hear. But if you get to work on the rough edges that still need chiselling, a mirror will update you on your progress. It has no hands to receive a bribe, has no family and no emotions, so it has no favorites and does not show partiality.

It will reveal You to you. You may accept its verdict and recommendation or you can keep living your fantasy.
