I stroll through the streets

In every corner there seems

To be lovers, on benches,

In the back seat of cars

In some dark corner

Whispering, giggling

A head resting on a shoulder

On the road, a car honks

Passersby, hurrying to destinations,

Some chitchatting as they went

And I, a spectator

And when the drama all around me ends,

I return home to an empty room

Silence my companion

And thoughts of when shall I

Fill my head

It’s depressing, this loneliness

It’s long, this night

I guess it’s the season

Slow in passing

Hoping I live to see it’s end
