Sometimes we try to read meanings into many things that happen to us.
Oh, the unusual way we met that old friend? That must be a sign. Or the way an incident occurred thrice on the same date in three years, that is definitely a miracle.
We think the way our name rhymes with that of a date could imply that we were destined to be together.
It could be true. Or, just a coincidence. A coincidence that has no significance at all.
When we become obsessed with reading meaning into everything, we deny ourselves the chance of truly enjoying life.
Just take in a deep breath. Allow things to take their natural course. If it’s a new friendship, allow time to reveal its true quality and potential.
We must give ourselves the opportunity to step out into nature, enjoy the beautiful sunshine, inhale the breeze and let go of the stress.
The stress of always trying to figure out everything and what solution there could be to our problems. It’s good to strategize. But not everything deserves the attention and importance we attach to them.
Life is happening in the now, with beauty all around us. Beauty even despite the chaos. Beautiful things and scenes we’re likely to miss if we’re tangled in the little details and fail to see the bigger picture in which everything, and I mean everything, works for our good, no matter how terrible an experience might have been.
There’s been countless times we’ve heard of giant corporations whose success stories stemmed from a costly mistake made that was later gleaned for useful lessons.
Take in a deep breath. You can’t figure out everything. But you can keep hope alive and stay positive that it will all end well.
