Jesus tells us that whatever we ask in prayer in His name and believe we shall receive, it shall be granted us. God lives in our heart and the desires and aspirations and big dreams that live there too with Him were put there because we are uniquely designed with the capabilities to bring them to fruition.

And so Jesus encourages us to keep asking and it shall be given us, to keep on seeking and we shall find, and to keep on knocking and it shall be opened to us.

Do you have a dream, a project, an idea, a mission, something very dear to your heart that you are willing to go all out to achieve or fulfill? Words are not the only means to ask God to help bring your dreams to fulfilment.

When it rains on the poor little bird perched on a tree in the forest, it allows its posture and condition to speak to its Maker. When it seems its strength is failing and it is on the verge of collapse, its Maker, who despite His busy schedule, still has time to decide which bird’s time it is to fall and which should live, wakes the sun and orders it to lick the water off the bird’s body and revive it once more with gentle heat.

You are worth more than that little bird and you too can speak to your Maker with your actions. Words are not the only means of asking in prayer.

Ask with the dedication and commitment you attach to your work, project, assignment or preparations towards achieving your goals. Ask with your quality work ethics of punctuality and integrity. Ask with waking up at dawn and reading books that will enhance your impact on your generation. Ask with the confidence you exude that there is no stopping you. Ask with the conviction in your heart that this life task is uniquely yours to fulfill. And that out of the millions of people in this world, you are the only one who can fulfill this mission in ways no one can.

And let this strengthen you to warm up, to jog, to exercise and live healthy and strong and young to fulfill this mission perfectly and in style and leave your signature on the pages of eternity that Time cannot erase.
