I want to become so wealthy that when anyone in my generation look ahead into the future, it will be impossible to see someone surpassing me in wealth and fame.

I do not want to be only famous, I also want to be highly respected. That is why I want to engage in respectable means of wealth creation. I want to build a network and a team of highly talented, ambitious, highly respected and very hardworking individuals.

I want every business and every brand I create to become a hallmark, a standard, a yardstick, a source of inspiration to others. I want to become powerful, so powerful that many governments combined can’t match me in wealth, weapons or intellectual might.

In my time, my continent Africa will never be the same in terms of economic activities, employment opportunities, quality education and health care. I want to build road networks, rail lines and airports across the continent to facilitate economic activities. I want to construct it all with my wealth, with the help of no government, as a gift to my people.

I don’t believe in the superiority of one race to the other. I believe we are all one people with the same worries and fears. That is why Africa is not my stop. I see myself networking with Chinese, Americans, Russians, Japanese, Malaysians, Palestinians, British and other nationalities to create a better world for us all.

A better world has always seemed an illusion, the lyrics in the songs of many. I don’t believe it will forever remain an illusion. In my time, it shall come to pass.

Some people believe you must not announce your moves. Don’t tell, show, they say. Great advice, I respect that. But I want you and I to succeed together in this exam called life. That is why I have left my answer sheet open so you can see its contents.

I am reading. I am revising my vision board. I am praying. I am networking. I am building a team. I am constantly at work on my dreams. Join me. I want us to sit together at the top one day as equals. I believe if I can make it, so can you.
